The Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) process applies to all individuals that are required to operate motor vehicles that are under the care and control of the University of Miami. This includes vehicles that are owned, leased or rented by the University of Miami. All drivers who operate University-affiliated vehicles will have their MVR reviewed throughout the term that they are expected to drive for the University of Miami. Those drivers having unsatisfactory driving records (as determined by the Department of Risk Management) will have their privileges for driving university-affiliated vehicles suspended and/or revoked.
Circumstances and situations which develop outside the scope of these requirements are subject to approval by the Assistant Vice President of the Department of Risk Management. Driver Safety Training

- Visit the United Educators Training Portal
- Complete Profile Registration form. (For reference, instructions are listed below.)
- Enter your first name, last name, and email address and click "Register"
- You will receive a welcome email with your username and a temporary password
- Follow the link in the email to sign on. You will be prompted to:
- Enter your temporary password
- Create a new password
- Create and answer a security question
- Select the appropriate course (will be assigned by RM based on scope of work and MVR results.)
- Defensive Driving Strategies: Get there Safely (15 min.)
- Driver Safety Fundamentals (45 min.)
- Golf Cart Safety (20 min.)
- Passenger Van Safety (10 min.)
