IMPORTANT UPDATE 4/27/2020: Changes to Iron Mountain Service During COVID-19 Outbreak
As the University continues to monitor the current COVID-19 outbreak, Iron Mountain has been vigorously reviewing its service and support during this time. Iron Mountain is following all travel and quarantine guidelines as provided by government agencies, such as the Center for Disease Control (CDC), as well as the World Health Organization (WHO). Due to implemented safety guidelines, changes are being made to the physical delivery/pickup of records. You can view the specific changes below. Departments are directed to use Iron Mountain Connect and request files as Image-On-Demand (additional charges will apply), for electronic delivery of requested records. The Department of Records Management & Retention administers consistent recordkeeping practices and comprehensive inventory management at the University of Miami. Records Management oversees the University's approved records storage provider and the maintenance of the approved Record Retention Schedule, with the goal of ensuring best practices are at the core of the policies and procedures that govern the management of University records.
